Hi friends,

I’m back online after a couple of days away for a much needed vacation. Austin and I jetted off to NYC to celebrate his birthday and our 3 year anniversary and let me say, it was romantic, magical, and adventure-filled enough for this shameless homebody. While I didn’t share it all in the moment over the course of the 5 days we were there, I wanted to make sure to at least post about it. I mean it is 2019… Did a trip even happen if it didn’t end up online?

(I included a bunch of links to most of the places we visited in case you’re planning a trip!)

One World Observatory view after sunset. Such a cool experience - definitely exceeded my expectation. The reveal once you get to the top is INCREDIBLE!

Oh and Sarabeth’s French Toast is arguably just as good. You best believe I stole half of this off of Austin’s plate 😋

We couldn’t go to NYC and not see a Broadway show! Waitress was a last minute decision thanks to TKTS - we got them at their discounted ticket booth in Time Square. If you don’t mind waiting until day of to book your tickets, I’d HIGHLY recommend TKTS!

Waitress was written by Sara Bareilles and she actually acted in it the night we saw it!!! I’ll be honest, Wicked is without a doubt still my favorite Broadway show, but Waitress was definitely worth it.
